Only administrators of your Google Workspace account can enable recordings from the Google Admin console. You also need the proper permissions to record. There are some ways around this with other third-party screen recording add-ons, but they can be an extra cost *and* you’ll need to invite a third-party “bot” to the meeting, which can be kind of weird.
